This antique Tibetan turquoise inlaid 8 auspicious patterns treasure box, made with a beautiful inlay technique with sparkling Turquoise. In particular, the box is engraved with the 8 Auspicious Symbols of Buddhism. These symbols are said to be full of good meanings such as luck, protection. At top, there is a lid inlaid with small coral, lapis and turquoise.
These boxes have been used since ancient times as Treasure Boxes or Jewelry Boxes, or as Ritual Boxes to store sacred items. Handmade by the delicate hands of Tibetan artisans, these pieces are highly valuable.
