This is hand-carved Buddhist Statues of Manjushree from Patan. One of our proficient craftsmen in this Masterpiece statue. Manjushree is also known as the "god of divine wisdom" also famous as the creator of Kathmandu Valley of Nepal.
The statue of Manjushri is holding the flaming sword in his right hand symbolizing the ability to slay through the evil power. On the other hand, he holds sacred lotus which bears the perfection of wisdom teachings text or book (Prajnaparamita Sutra).
All our statues are handmade. Each piece is unique and it is impossible to reproduce exactly the same. Slight differences may therefore appear in the shapes, proportions, colors and materials used in our descriptions and specification sheets.
