This Maha Manjushree is displayed with his associate and is situated on a lotus and consists of four heads and six hands. Maha-Manjushree is known as the Bodhisattva of Wisdom and is the bodhisattva partner to Adi Buddha. Maha Manjushri is regularly viewed as the Buddha's manifest insight. In his right hand Maha Manjushree holds the flaring twofold sword of logical segregation to obliterate obliviousness, the major reason for cyclic presence and languishing. The left hand holds a blue lotus overcomes by the book of otherworldly insight, the Prajnaparamita sutra. Maha Manjushree is representing the comprehensiveness of the Bodhisattva of Wisdom.

Maha Manjushree, whose love presents authority of the Dharma and he is viewed as the organizer of Kathmandu. Initially, the Kathmandu valley was a lake where Vipaswi Buddha tossed some lotus seeds. Protecting the Face
As the face is painted it is highly recommended that the face of the statue is to be greatly taken care of as it requires a very professional and skilled face artist to repair the face of dirt and damages. Commonly to protect it from damage the statue with painted face is placed under a glass box and it is always covered with a cotton face mask if it has to be moved
