Masterpiece Tibetan Chenrezig Statue 12"
This is a Masterpiece Tibetan Chenrezig statue with Coral and Turquoise gemstone inlaid and it is a representation of the Bodhisattva of Compassion, also known as Avalokiteshvara in Sanskrit. Bodhisattvas are enlightened beings who have chosen to remain in the cycle of rebirth to help others achieve enlightenment. In Tibetan Buddhism, Chenrezig is considered the embodiment of compassion and is often depicted with four arms, representing the four immeasurable qualities of loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. Chenrezig statues are typically found in Tibetan Buddhist temples, monasteries, and homes, and are considered sacred objects that can be used for meditation, prayer, and rituals.
Chenrezig statues are often considered masterpieces due to the intricate details and symbolism they contain, as well as the skill of the artist who created them. Indeed, even in non-Buddhist nations, the vast majority of people know about his "mantra Om Mani Padme Hum".
Chenrezig Statue is portrayed here in his four-armed structure, which represents his whirlwind of steady movement on the planet. In his upper right hand, he holds a gem mala, or Buddhist rosary, that he constantly counts and which addresses his persistent sympathetic action on the planet. What's more in his upper left hand, he holds a delightful lotus blossom in full bloom.
It is also common to recite prayers or mantras while looking at the statue, as a way of cultivating compassion and connection to the Bodhisattva of Compassion.
