The Blissful White Tara Statue, 11"
This is stunning White Tara statue, which is handmade statue in Patan. This buddha figure is unique in shape and construction of this modern scale sculpture. Generally, white tara is portrayed in a stance of agile scrutinizing ease with the two legs raised and crossed, showing a majestic class and peacefulness like found in this White Tara Copper Statue. Her right hand is broadened descending, palm open, with thumb and forefinger contacting. This hand position is known as Varada Mudra, or the token of giving wishes and security. Her left hand, raised to bear stature with fingers broadened and palm turned outward, is in the token of allowing asylum and liberating from fears (Abhaya Mudra).
