Beautiful Gold painted face on  Copper Oxidized Green Tara Statue in sitting position on lotus. Green Tara, also known as Harit Tara in Nepal, mother of liberation is the most famous female deity in Buddhism. Green Tara is the female epitome of the illuminated empathy and phenomenal deeds of the multitude of Buddhas, offering security and help to all who face difficulties in their lives.

Green Tara is portrayed in a stance of effortless scrutinizing ease with her right leg broadened. The expansion of her leg represents her nonstop action, consistent sharpness and her status to get a move on help the individuals who call upon her. Her right hand is expanded descending, palm open, with thumb and pointer contacting. This hand position is known as Varada Mudra, or the token of giving wishes and security. Her left hand, raised to bear stature with fingers broadened and palm turned outward, is in the token of allowing shelter and liberating from fears (Abhaya Mudra). Every one of her hands likewise holds the stem of a delightful lotus blossom that floats over her shoulder as an image of her brilliant immaculateness and power.

Protecting the Face
As the face is painted it is highly recommended that the face of the statue is to be greatly taken care of as it requires a very professional and skilled face artist to repair the face of dirt and damages. Commonly to protect it from damage the statue with painted face is placed under a glass box and it is always covered with a cotton face mask if it has to be moved
