This is stunning gold plated Tibetan Buddhist Vajrasattva Statue with gems inlaid. It's weight is 1.67 kg and 8" in height. This Vajrasattva statue is Coral and turquoise inlaid and makes it perfect for an alter or in a private collection. Vajrasattva is also known in Tibetan as Dorjee Sempa or Bodhisattva. This statue is handmade with lost wax technique. The carving on this statue made this statue masterpiece among Buddhist sculptor and is extremely attractive which can be seen in the fine, intricate and smooth details of the statue.
The Vajrasattva is sitting on a single lotus with Bell and Dorjee in his hands.

Making Process: Lost-Wax System, Making a statue is the work of various specialist craftsmen in: wax casting, metal casting, engraving and eventually 24k gold gilding and / or stone setting. Each of these steps must be performed with excellence to produce statues of the highest quality. The lost wax method is the oldest and most refined method used by sculptors in Nepal.
